Zephiel is the 10th reincarnation of the Warrior of Light. Like the Warriors of Light before him, he was presented with the Echo at birth as per Hydaelyn's decision and was blessed with the strength to push himself beyond any limits from the Mothercrystal. While he is now grateful for his extreme might, he grew to swiftly hate the responsibilities as the new Warrior of Light, to the point where he did not tell anyone about the visions of Hydaelyn that he had seen for the many years of his life. He loathed the idea of being responsible for the fate of the world, for the billions of lives that depended on him to see tomorrow. As time passed, however, he has since learned to embrace the champion that he has been chosen as, and will happily give his strength to those who cannot fight themselves.The young Veena is constantly growing and learning more about himself as he walks his path toward the stars. There is much he doesn't know - both about the world around him and himself. He pushes on despite this discomfort in an attempt to find his true self and the happiness along with it. Because of this, he admittedly has a difficult time meeting new people and will often not take the initiative. That being said, his heart is full of gold and light from the many years of being the answer to Hydaleyn's prayers.His journey has been an excruciatingly long one. It has not been without its hardships, spilled blood, sacrifices, and tears. While it is far from over, Zephiel often cannot help but think of settling down for good in an attempt to avoid the pain that has scarred himself as being the champion of the realm. Duty calls, however, and he never hesitates to throw himself into the face of battle. A fighter for freedom, he is, and the people of Etheirys will never have it if they are without their Warrior of Light.There is much to be discovered within Zephiel, from his religious views as a devout believer in Hydaelyn, to his many forms of communicating his often anxious and complicated feelings that he keeps to himself. Most people miss this since Zephiel is very particular about how he is presented publicly. Troubled emotions aside, the warrior is constantly seeking new adventures and causes to help. In current events, Zephiel is taking much needed time to himself and travelling the world in solitude, though he is always at the Scions' beck and call.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
Heart of Light Zephiel is naturally a very easygoing man with a lot of love and strength to give, expecting little to nothing in return. He will walk through the deepest pits of the Seven Hells for even a stranger. No matter how many times he is told how much of an unhealthy trait this is, he refuses to shake the urge to help everyone and anyone. His strength is yours. Aetheric Bane Due to extremely low aetheric density in the Skatay Forest, Zephiel was born with an aether-sustaining deficiency and thus naturally produces a very small amount of aether. Because of this, he often struggles with equipping magick-based job stones and will quickly get sick if he pushes himself to use magick. Brothers in Arms Zephiel always travels with his companion, Xavier. Wherever Zephiel goes, the Dragoon will follow as was last requested of him before leaving the Skatay Forest. While the two are vastly different from one another, their bond is nothing short of unbreakable. Through hell or high water, Zephiel and Xavier have given each other the lives of two brothers with everything to lose and nothing to gain. Words Unspoken Because of his reluctance to communicate to his community about his possession of the Echo as the reincarnated Warrior of Light, Zephiel has taken a vow of silence and communicates using Eorzean Sign Language. His companions, Xavier and Eos, speak for him. There have been very few times where Zephiel has broken this vow of silence. He does not plan to stay muted forever.

Thrill of Battle Though often opposed to conflict, Zephiel will rarely ever turn down a fight. Constantly seeking ways to get stronger for the sake of others, Zephiel takes on fights with little to no thought or hesitation, and finds himself in a state of elation when given the opportunity to join the fray. Armed and Ready In the Ghimlyt Dark, Zephiel had faced an unimaginably strong foe: Zenos Yae Galvus. In an attempt to even the loss of his troops, Zenos had took it upon himself to sever Zephiel's left arm, leaving the warrior mentally and physically broken for years. Thanks to a very talented doctor, Zephiel was able to have a state-of-the-art prosthetic fitted for him. While at first he hated it, Zephiel has come to be Favored by the Wood Zephiel is one of the very few that had returned to the Skatay Forest after the grueling five summers of training to become a Wood Warder. Because of this, he has an astronomical amount of knowledge regarding flora, fauna, and the many secrets that forests can keep from the common eye. He is exceptionally skilled in hunting, fishing, poison making, trapping, and taming wild beasts. Newfound Work As of post Endwalker, Zephiel's primary occupation has changed to a professor at the Studium of Sharlayan. Although this was not anticipated, he welcomes the position offered to him by various faculty members. It gives him something to do with his time after The Final Days and fulfills his desire to bring knowledge of the outside world to those who cannot take the venture themselves. He teaches Intergalactic Relations.

My name is Michael, but I prefer if you call me Mikey! I'm a 25 year old trans man who is pretty new to RP, but I'm very much excited to make stories with you all, as well as adding more to my Viera's everlasting epic. While I'm not new to writing, writing with other people is a foreign concept to me and I would like to master it and form strong bonds in the process. I happily look forward to it.Outside of RP, I raid and spend quality time with my friends and my partner. I'm often seen on XIV helping others with their goals and tasks. Despite having a pretty open schedule, a lot of my free time is spent managing my house and pursuing my interests. Between work, raid, and spending time with my friends, I often find myself RPing in the night time or early morning. There is shyness and anxiety that comes with RP that I'm doing my best to navigate through as well, so any form of patience and understanding is greatly appreciated! rule 2. There is a clear difference between me and my OC. This includes anything romantic and ESPECIALLY sexual. I am not using my character as an outlet or projecting onto him in any way and would appreciate if people did the same with their characters toward me. My character may have real emotions, but he is very much a fictional character. Do not present me or him with personal issues.
